You know I’m really exited about this browser and I truly hope Google eventually comes out with a great product, as a current Firefox user myself I have to agree that extensions and plug-ins are a crucial addition in any browser and I think this is why I and so many others out there prefer Firefox, not just because of the plug-ins but because of it’s Simplicity to use. If Chrome eventually supports similar features as Firefox I don’t see a problem users switching at all.

This just means another browser to test in! Seriously though, anything that brings webkit to a larger market is good. Although I can’t help feeling I’m worried with Google knowing my browsing history…

The biggest problem I have with it is its lack of plug-ins, now that more comes down to not enough people coding them for Safari. However it feels like it doesn’t really have an active development community behind it.

Thanks for sharing the pre 1.5 version overlay icons, I had exactly the same experience as you. The new icons are blurry and harder to read.

Btw, instead of restarting Windows after selecting the new icons, just restart explorer.exe with taskmanager. Worked for me!

I used to love playing unreal tournament, i cant wait for this to come out, but i’m so out of touch that i cant imagine actually being able to play as well as before.

Bring on Halo 3 anyday. Its fantastic!
